Zygote is pleased to announce the expansion of their offerings to include a 3D Solid Spine. Each bone of the spine was meticulously digitized in order to create the Zygote Solid Spine. This data is organized to allow manipulation of each individual bone allowing for greater flexibility and usability during design, development, and testing. The Zygote Solid Spine was developed specifically for use in engineering, design and manufacturing software such as SolidWorks, UGS Solid Edge, Pro/ENGINEER and Abaqus. Other formats are also available including IGES. Uses for the Solid Spine include: » Development of medical devices such as spinal implants and orthopedic devices. » Education of patients on how devices and implants will interact with their bodies. » Stress testing for any product interacting with the body.
