Nephron Glomerulus

This image illustrates a nephron loop and glomerulus, smaller structures found within the cortex of the kidney that are highly responsible for the filtration of blood. The bowman´s capsule is open to show the glomerulus. Also seen are the supporting artery and vein, afferent and efferent arteriole leading to glomerulus contained within Bowman.s capsule, convoluted tubules, Henle.s loop, and the collecting duct leading to the renal pelvis.
