Inflammation Response
This four-step image shows the various stages involved in a pathogenic attack and subsequent inflammation response. We first see the appearance of a foreign invader, in this case an attacking bacteria. As it proliferates we see the response of the host.s immune system, with WBCs entering the site, exiting the blood stream, and attacking the invader, until the effects are subsided and the invading species is destroyed.
